Bloomsbury Residential Sell Lettings Portfolio

Bloomsbury Residential have completed the sale of their managed property portfolio and closed the doors of their Salisbury offices for the last time.

Co-founder Rory James MacLaren-Jackson confirmed that the time was right to allow him and fellow Letting4Success and Property Agency Training director Fabio Del Piero to concentrate on their training and investment channels.

Fabio Del Piero, whose involvement with the firm from a City background marked the start of a period of strong, organic growth through new strategies and marketing, added: "As much as you develop as an entrepreneur with a broad range of business interests, you always have a soft spot for the businesses where you first 'cut your teeth' in the realm of self-employment. But business is business, and we are and always have been traders not collectors, so it's time to take the brand to pastures new."

After a satisfying period in property agency, following the portfolio sale Bloomsbury Residential co-founder Susan Yeates has moved to Surrey to concentrate on interests in other fields.

Bloomsbury sells its city managed lettings portfolio

BLOOMSBURY Residential has completed the sale of its managed lettings portfolio in Salisbury to a local competitor and closed the door of its Castle Street offices for the last time.

Involved in the Salisbury property scene since 2003 and in its current form for more than five years, Bloomsbury Residential has had a prominent presence in the local rental market. With its founders moving the centre of their business operations to London and Surrey respectively, it was seen as an opportune time to explore new horizons.

Co-founder Rory James MacLaren-Jackson said: "We have had a fantastic time in Salisbury, and to have served our clients and their tenants while building a successful business was everything we could have asked for."

Susan Yeates, who co-founded the business, added: "It has been a pleasure to serve our landlords and vendor clients and we are more than satisfied they are now going to be in safe hands with our new buyers."

Those buyers, a nationwide lettings franchise chain, also on Castle Street, commented they were impressed with such a well-organised and solidly built portfolio, plus the high level of referral business the Bloomsbury Residential approach attracted.
